PBS program Horizon focuses on bioscience sector

On Wed., August 19, the PBS program Horizon focused on the biosciences in Arizona with a feature on Tempe medical-devices firm Kinetic Muscles Inc., and a roundtable conversation about the bio sector with:

• Jeffrey Trent, president and research director of the Translational Genomics Research Institute;
• Marty Shultz, vice president of government affairs for Pinnacle West Capital Corp., and chair of the Arizona’s Bioscience Roadmap Steering Committee;
• and Michael Mobley, professor at the Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University and board chair of the Arizona BioIndustry Association.
